  No matter how many award shows there are the Emmys Golden Globes and Oscars will always be the biggies. And speaking of the Emmys I have picked what I think were the best dressed male celebrities at the 57th Annual Emmy Awards.
• Buckler Fall 2007
  Although well known to a more exclusive clientele, Buckler is becoming one of my favorite labels and I am certain it will continue to gain more attention. Buckler always puts on a great show that is somewhat theatrical and never dull. The fall 2007 collection had a strong ‘80s rock ‘n roll influence. Items of most interest were body conscious suits, coats and knits, slim fitting dress shirts with the predominant color palette being black and gray with splashes of red, green, blue and mauve.
• Classic Gelled Hairstyles
  In the early 1900's, the fashionable male wore his hair smooth and slicked back. It was either parted in the middle or on the side and was shiny from perfumed oils, Brylcreem, hair tonic or other similar products. Hair had a tendency to be longer on top and on the sides. • G Star Raw Fall 2010
  Much less serious than its fall 2009 collection is G-Star's fall 2010 line-up. It is fun, whimsical and unexpected. Amazing tailored pieces in bright yellow, green and cobalt replace the more subdued hues seen in other fall collections. Even the knits are churned out in these bright hues. Designer Pierre Morisset put a unique and vibrant spin on common trends other designers are incorporating in their collections, which is something I expect from this edgy Dutch label.

• 61st Annual Emmy Awards
  No matter how many award shows there are, the Emmys, Golden Globes and Oscars are undoubtedly the most important. And speaking of the Emmys, there were subtle, but distinctive differences in style choices by some of the suit clad men. So here is some of the best men's red carpet fashion at the 61st Annual Emmy Awards.
• Monarchy Spring 2010
  For spring 2010, Monarchy features trim tailored sport coats, some with piping detail that is reminiscent of traditional British college uniforms. Other key pieces include button down shirts and frayed denim. So in other words, the line is less edgy than usual, but these are clothes that will appeal to the modern guy and how he dresses. One might mistake some of these looks for more expensive labels such as John Varvatos and Paul Smith but Monarchy is certainly more affordable.
• Daniel Craig
  For the most part the men at this year's Oscars did a great job. Aside from the occassional unshaven face, a big no no for such a big award show, the guys turned out some sharp looking tuxes. Nothing too creative or crazy walked on to the red carpet.
